WORDS FROM THE FOUNDER

As a mother of two, I know how important it is for my children to take extra-curricula activities after school. My children are curious and interested in so many aspects which I can never fulfil if they simply stayed at home. Then I found myself juggling hideously between daily routines and after school activities. I was driving hours in peak traffic, struggling to get a parking, waiting for classes to finish in the car with a nagging screaming sibling in the back seat. The nightmare turned even more horrific when I decided to go back to work. I felt angry at myself for not being able to let my kids have the opportunity they deserve. Sounds familiar? Yes I have been there and back, and I wasn’t enjoying a single bit of it. I realised I must make a change to the system and end this nightmare. This is how I came up this the idea of Cool After School.

An after school extra-curricula academy that is based in the comfort and safety of your child’s own school. Classes usually start after school has finished, allowing an easy, fuss-free transition. Our diverse and fun curriculum allows your child to emerge in the excitement of learning. It’s all about staying cool for both students and parents at Cool After School.

PARENT REP RECRUITMENT

Build strong collaborative relationships with parents, families, Educators and the local community to provide an inclusive and enriching learning experience for children across our programs.

Lead and support a team of Educators by providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve operational practice and values-driven behaviour.

Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing Child Safety Standards.

Be a motivated and driven leader who will inspire a positive learning culture at an established centre.

Be supported by the Area Manager with the day-to-day operations and by Child Safety Compliance Advisors.

Be working 10-15 hours per week, hours are from 3.30 to 6pm weekdays.
